According to the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA)\, flying drones in South Africa is permissible. However\, there are specific regulations in place to ensure the proper management of drone operations. \nTo operate a drone for professional or commercial purposes\, it is mandatory to possess a valid remote pilot license approved by the CAA.
