    Admission Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent / Fluency in English (An English competency test needs to be taken upon registration of the course).
    • Must be 18 year or older by the time you write
    • Be an able-bodied person with excellent general health.
    • Must be able to move unaided in water with a life jacket

    Course Duration

    • 4 months
    • Intakes 2 per year (January and February)

    • Exam Method: Classroom exam at the SA-CAA
    • Exam Format: Multiple Choice questions.
    • No Textbooks are permitted
    • Number of questions: 40
    • Time Allowance: One hour
    • Number of exam attempts: 2
    • Method: Written at SAMSA based in Durban
    • Exam Format: Multiple Choice questions.
    • No Textbooks are permitted
    • Number of questions: 100
    • Time Allowance: One hour
    • Number of exam attempts: 2
    • Online exam with remote supervision
    • You will be given 3 hours to complete 100 multiple choice questions (closed textbook)
    • Passing grade is 60% correct answers, 90% correct answers are needed for a distinction
    • You will be given 2 attempts to successfully complete the final exam

      Course Qualifications

      • Cabin Crew Student License
      • International STCW Certificate is awarded upon successful completion of the final two examinations
      • IATA Passenger Ground Service With Amadeus Certificate.
